Evocative!
I agree. It is teasingly incomplete, delightful!
Is this about Kasmir?
It's just that a friend of mine filmed his brother while he was working with the army to save tens of thousands of people.
Thanks Alan and Sangeet, yes, actually it is about a refugee camp...though not specific to Kashmir...Iwould love to hear from your brother about his experience there.love angelee
Hi Angelee!
It's not my brother, but collegues of Karen's through her TV development company.
Dr Khaldoon Ahmed, makes Omar Sharif look ugly ;-) filmed his brother Shamoon, who works for a London Transport organisation as a manager, assisting the Army save tens of thousands of lives. He was awarded various medals both locally and nationally in Pakistan for this.
Khaldoon has since become a friend, as well as a collegue, but I haven't met Shamoon in person, only in film footage.
The Army were amazing, and put the U.N. and other forces to shame as they did so much despite losing almost all their senior officers and admin staff during the earthquake.
